During the weeks leading up to Halloween, the children's library hosts a week dedicated to knowledge and creativity around All Saints' Day. Visitors can learn about the origins of the holiday and discover why spooky figures play such an important role during this time.

Craft tables are set up with materials and inspiration for making your own decorations, and there is also a selection of (un)spooky books to explore.

About the venue: Nivå Mini-Bibliotek

Nivå Mini-Bibliotek is a temporary public library set up in January 2025 while the original Nivå Bibliotek is being rebuilt as part of the Generationernes Hus project. It is expected to move back to permanent premises in 2027. Despite the smaller space, it offers books and magazines for children and adults, daily newspapers, PC access, free wi-fi, and paid printing and copying. Registered borrowers can let themselves in outside staffed hours using their health card and a PIN.
