Children's Theatre: Frederik

"Frederik" is a musical puppet show featuring puppeteer Astrid Kjær, based on Leo Lionni's classic children's book of the same name.

The performance follows the mouse Frederik, who doesn't help the other mice gather supplies for winter - instead, he sits and dreams across the fields. When the cold sets in and the food runs out, it becomes clear what Frederik has actually collected: stories about colours, sun and scents that carry the mice through the hardest part of winter. The story is told through music, puppets and shadow play.
