Family Event on Dyslexia - Meet Other Families Living with Dyslexia Every Day

The library is for everyone - including you with dyslexia or you who find reading difficult.

On Thursday, November 5, Roskilde Library hosts a shared afternoon in the Hall. The programme includes a conversation about what it is like to be dyslexic or have dyslexia in the family, and how to find inspiration for reading in everyday life.

The afternoon also features a visit from Nanna Lind Kristensen - a football freestyle performer, TikTok profile, and participant in DR Ultras football series "En for holdet". She is also the inspiration behind the football books "Nanna". Nanna talks about what it was like to stand out from her classmates when she started losing her hair at age 13 due to a rare illness - and she demonstrates football tricks that participants can try themselves. The evening ends with pizza and idea-sudoku.

The goal is to form a family network that meets a couple of times a year - with no obligation to attend every time. The event is for the whole family, and siblings are very welcome, whether your child has just been tested or has lived with dyslexia for many years.
