Waitlist for Escape Room - Experience a Solar Eclipse in Løvbakkerne

The escape room is sold out, but you can join the waitlist via the registration link under "Escape Room". Tickets are still available for the evening event itself.

On August 12, we gather in Løvbakkerne at the Nature Centre to observe a partial solar eclipse, where up to 86% of the Sun's disc will be covered by the Moon. The event is free - get a ticket so the organizers know how many eclipse glasses to prepare.

The evening's activities include free solar eclipse glasses (which you can decorate yourself), a literary astronomy talk, and local astronomy enthusiasts answering questions about the Sun, Moon, and stars. The grill will be lit from 5:30 PM, so you can bring food and eat outdoors before the eclipse.

The outdoor Escape Room - "The Hunt for the Truth About Sophie and Tycho Brahe" - requires registration and has limited spaces. The activity starts at 5:45 PM and is guided throughout, so everyone is back in time for the eclipse itself. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; from age 12 you can participate independently. Registration for the Escape Room automatically grants access to the entire event. Any available spaces are released on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is a collaboration between Herning Astronomy Association, NaturSara, Herning Municipality, and Herning Libraries.
