Kulturhuset 1B - Day of the Dead

In this workshop, we explore the ofrenda (altar) and create our own colorful decorations: papel picado (cut paper ornaments), cempasúchil flowers, and skulls. We work with various materials and creative techniques, with room for both imagination and immersion.

The workshop is for everyone who wants to create, cut, fold, and learn about a Mexican tradition. It is part of the family Saturdays, where children and adults are invited to creative sessions guided by professional artists and cultural educators. Materials are provided free of charge.

The activity is drop-in from 10:00 to 14:00 - unless otherwise stated. If you don't feel like the planned activity, you are welcome to use the house's facilities for play, a quiet moment with a packed lunch, or a cup of coffee and juice. Venue: Kulturhuset 1B.
