Children's Theatre: 'Ivalu's First Song'

Teater De Røde Heste presents the solo performance 'Ivalu's First Song', performed by Claus Mandøe, at Roskilde Library. The production has received critical acclaim and is inspired by polar explorer and author Knud Rasmussen - the story originates from Greenland.

The young heroine Ivalu composes her very first song in a wondrous way and thereby saves her entire family. It is a story about courage and about doing what you are NOT supposed to do when it is most necessary.

The performance is for children from age 6 and their adults. The audience sits together on benches and sealskin inside an igloo. The age recommendation is important to follow. For many children this is their first time at the theatre, so feel free to sit close to your child - and if you need a break, it is perfectly fine to slip out and come back later.
