Four-Hand Piano Concert: Mozart, Mendelssohn & Carl Vine

The concert at PB7talentscenen features three works for four-hand piano.

The programme opens with Mozart's Sonata in C major, KV 521, with its three movements alternating between lively energy, gentle lyricism and playful passages. This is followed by Mendelssohn's Andante & Allegro, op. 92 - a contrast between a lyrical Andante and an energetic Allegro. The evening's third work is Carl Vine's Sonata for four-hand piano, a modern piece in five movements: Prelude, Waltz, Deuces, Meditation and Toccata.
