The LAB at Egegården

The LAB is a small orchestra with roots in smooth jazz - a genre with clear, melodic themes reminiscent of a lead vocal on a pop song. Some call it "elevator music", others call it "cream for the ears". The LAB hopes to land in the latter category.

The quartet consists of four musicians from North Zealand, all with experience from professional contexts such as Beverly Hills Orchestra, Back to Back, Blast, Danser med Drenge, Dodo and the Dodos, and Mænd i Blåt. The LAB is a workshop project where they deliberately work with something that lies a bit outside their comfort zone as musicians.

On September 24, they perform at Egegården in Espergærde. If you've taken fusion classes at the evening school, there may also be an opportunity to chalk your dance shoes.
