Concert: Duo Waterfahl

Waterfahl moves between folk, blues and pop, rooted in the Danish singer-songwriter tradition. The sound is built on melodic guitar, warm vocals and a touch of harmonica - the duo consists of Finn on rhythm guitar and Hanne on vocals, whose voice Rootszone.dk describes as "fine and soulful".

The concert takes listeners through songs about characters and destinies: the city hermit, the party-loving single mother, the shy neighbour, the stone collector and others. There is also room for their latest album Vandkantet - a musical mosaic created in collaboration with lyricists and musicians, featuring songs inspired by places like Limfjorden, Vesterhavet, Århus Ø and Begtrup Vig.

Waterfahl draws inspiration from a life lived in both Denmark and Britain, and the songs circle around places, people and the boundaries, longings and dreams that emerge where water meets land.
