Cumbian Colors performs original compositions in the cumbia style - a dance-friendly Latin American genre with roots in Colombia, Chile, and Denmark. The band blends clarinet and saxophone with vocals, pulsing percussion, bass and guitar, plus a touch of jazz, driven by three percussionists.

Their latest album, Todos Al Baile, came out in December 2024 and is available on all digital platforms. The latest single, Con Flores, was released in June 2026, with another on the way.

About cumbia: The genre originated on Colombia's Caribbean coast, where indigenous wind instruments met the drums and singing of African slaves. Throughout the 20th century, cumbia gained international audiences as jazz and modern instruments became part of the sound.
