Ceramics - 6-Week Course (Beginners and Intermediate)

Join this 6-week ceramics course at Makit Workshops & Værkstedscafé, where you'll work with clay in small groups of up to 10 people. A ceramicist will guide you individually based on your level and interests, whether you're completely new to ceramics or have some prior experience.

The course runs for 6 evenings and covers various techniques with tips and tricks tailored to what you want to create. If you need to miss a session, you can exchange it for one session in the open ceramics studio (valid for 4 months from your last course session).

The price includes clay, 2 firings, and up to 6 glazes in total (underglaze painting counts as two glazes since it also requires transparent glaze on top; additional glazes cost 65 kr.). You'll also have access to all tools and materials in the studio, and kiln space is limited to 20 × 20 × 10 cm per teaching session.

Wheel-throwing equipment is available, but the course does not include wheel-throwing instruction - if you're interested in that, you'll need to sign up for the intensive wheel-throwing course separately.
