Aunt Rod and the Adventurous Friends

Teatergården invites you to an afternoon of theatre, homemade cake and play from 1 pm to 4 pm. The event is especially suited for children aged 4-9 with parents or grandparents.

The afternoon begins with the performance "Aunt Rod and the Adventurous Friends" - a colourful and humorous tale about a princess and her unusual friends, about friendship tested, and how she finds her way back to them. Along the way we meet flowers, wild roots, various animals and the wise King - so wise that he soon goes by the name King Carrot. Aunt Rod herself tells the story while the mess grows and grows around her. The performance is written in a playful linguistic universe: the youngest can follow the story quite literally, while older audiences can enjoy the double meanings, wordplay and linguistic twists.

After the performance, homemade cake with accompaniments, coffee and soft drinks are served - everything is included in the ticket. Everyone can make funny "talking carrots", children can play with Teatergården's toys, and the oldest can try their hand at a language quiz about the performance's linguistic tricks. Since the event falls during the autumn half-term, there will also be activities with potatoes. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

The time is 1 pm to 4 pm with a flexible end, so you can leave earlier if needed. Price: 219 kr. for children and 249 kr. for adults.
