Exhibition "NAÏV: Ukrainian Visions"

NAÏV: Ukrainian Visions is Denmark's first exhibition dedicated to Ukrainian naive art - its history and development. The exhibition is shown at Ukraine House in Denmark, Strandgade 27B, Copenhagen, from 21 August 2026 to 17 January 2027.

Opening hours: Tuesday-Saturday 12:00-18:00, Sunday 12:00-16:00, closed Mondays. Note: the 12:00 time on the ticket is for booking purposes only - you can arrive at any time within the opening hours on the day in question.

The exhibition brings together over 100 works by 20 Ukrainian artists and explores naive art's distinctive visual language and its connections to folk culture, the Ukrainian avant-garde, and Ukraine's 20th-century history. Among the participating artists are Polina Raiko, Mariia Prymachenko, Hanna Sobachko-Shostak, and Panas Yarmolenko. Through paintings, archival materials, and the artists' personal narratives, NAÏV: Ukrainian Visions also addresses themes of memory, loss, and the continued presence of Ukrainian culture today.
