Purpur | Stairway

Purpur takes the stage at Stairway in Vanløse on Friday, 29 January 2027 at 19:00. The seven-piece ensemble of young women combines jazz, pop and folk with melodic brass arrangements and improvisational energy, singing in Danish. Stairway is a municipally run black box venue on the first floor of Kulturstationen Vanløse, with capacity for 350 standing guests. The venue opened in September 2020 and is named after Van Morrison's song "Vanlose Stairway", written when he lived in the neighbourhood. This is one of two Danish dates for Purpur in 2027. Tickets cost 60-120 kr.
