International Welcome Day 2026

International Welcome Day 2026 - line-up: Saturday 26 September 2026, 10:00–14:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Odense. Admission is free.

International House Odense celebrates its first anniversary with an open welcome day for international residents and Danish citizens of all ages. Entry is free, but advance registration is required.

You will meet 50+ local organizations, associations, and networks supporting international residents in Odense. The day offers practical services for daily life, talks and workshops on job-seeking in Denmark, an improv drop-in workshop, a self-defense workshop, and the chance to try different dance styles. There is also a live podcast featuring the team behind What Are You Doing in Denmark: Brooke Black, Derek Hartman, and Conrad Molden.

After the event, you can continue to Storms Pakhus, where from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Hall 3, Lerchesgade 4, 5000 Odense C, you can decorate a glass and take it home. Glasses and markers are free while supplies last.
