Active Euthanasia - For? Against?
Brædstrup Bibliotek, Brædstrup · Free
Active euthanasia regularly surfaces in public debate - in the media, in Parliament, and in the Ethics Council. Surveys show that most Danes support it, while healthcare professionals working with terminal illness and the dying are largely opposed. What explains this striking difference?
On Tuesday, 10 November at 19:00, Kirsten Dahl Knudsen will examine the issue and the ethical challenges and possible consequences that introducing active euthanasia in Denmark would entail. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity for discussion.
The event takes place in the Multisalen at Brædstrup Library and is held in collaboration with DOF Brædstrup Evening School. Free tickets are available on the website or from DOF Brædstrup on tel. 40858083.
