Small Creatures, Big Adventures is a collection of six short animated films for the youngest viewers.
The programme features three film series. In The Little Bird, we follow a bird's encounters with the different friends of the seasons - from spring's bees and summer's caterpillar to autumn's squirrel - and a hungry fox that must be outwitted. In Some Thing, the big mountains boast of oil, gold and fire, while the little mountain cannot keep up, until it turns out that true wealth is found in what grows slowly from within. In Coquille, the hermit crab Bernard has lost his home and must protect his bare rear end - with the help of a little crab, the two embark on an adventure that ends in an unexpected friendship.
After the films, a speaker from Salaam talks with the students about the seasons and what can be found in nature - in the forest, in the mountains and on the beach. The screening takes place in collaboration with the Salaam Film Festival and is held in the Great Hall.
One ticket is ordered per school class.
