Welcome to Krible Krable Forest - family craft: 12 October – 17 October 2026, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning.

Make butterflies from fabric and clothespins or paper, and place them on the trees - the more insects, the better the forest!

The activity is for children of all ages and their adults. The youngest need an adult with them. All materials are ready to use, so you can just sit down and get started.

The event is part of the autumn holiday programme Krible Krable Forest at Herning Library, where the children's library fills up with activities for the whole family during the holidays.

Location: The Children's Library.

About the venue: Biblioteket i Herning

Biblioteket i Herning opened in August 2014 in the city centre on Østergade, designed by Kristian H. Nielsen and GPP Arkitekterne. At nearly 6,000 m², it houses five kilometres of shelving in the book section known as Dybet, two bookable meeting rooms, a MakerSpace and a café. Beyond lending, the library hosts lectures, cultural events and IT guidance, and also serves as the central library for 19 municipalities in the Central Denmark Region.
