Rågeleje and the North Coast: From Fishing Village to Summer House Area

A lecture about the book "Rågeleje - The Town by the Sea", which portrays a landscape, a coastline, and the people who have left their mark on the area over more than a hundred years - from the first fishermen and farmers to the city dwellers, artists, and idealists who later bought land and planted pine trees to tame the open terrain.

The book describes the fishing village when Rågeleje had only 34 residents, and follows its development towards the Norwegian log cabins, functionalist villas, and architectural experiments that characterize the town's skyline today.
