Runway sessions at Støberiet

Runway sessions - ballroom training: 30 October – 18 December 2026, Støberiet, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Runway is a fashion and performance category within ballroom culture - a subculture created by and for the BIPOC LGBTQA+ community, where people compete in various performance, beauty, and fashion categories at events called balls.

Runway sessions at Støberiet are an open space to practice runway with others. It is not a workshop, but an informal exchange of tricks and techniques. Both European runway (feminine walk) and American runway (masculine walk) are practiced. You can show up as you are - high heels are recommended for European runway. If you are new to the category, they will help you get started.

The sessions are free, require no registration, and are open to everyone interested in ballroom and runway. The sessions are organized by Ida Louise, who has been active in Copenhagen's ballroom scene for several years.

Runway sessions take place at Støberiet, 3rd floor, on selected Fridays throughout the year. Entrance via Blågårds Plads 5.
