Voks skoV for de mindste

Note: The performance takes place at Karlsgårde Søvej by Den Runde Plads, 6800 Varde - not at the library.

'Voks skoV for de mindste' takes the youngest audience members on a small walk into the forest, where children meet the Wood Wide Web: the network of fungal threads between roots beneath the forest floor that trees use to communicate with each other. Biological knowledge about trees and fungi forms the foundation of the performance's narrative and humorous approach.

Through interaction with a living tree, a squirrel, and a tree storyteller, the youngest children engage their senses at a calm forest pace - and their knowledge of flora and fungi becomes anchored in their bodies as the performance unfolds.
