New Year's Walk at Gentofte Lake and Brobæk Mose

New Year's Walk - winter birdwatching: Sunday 3 January 2027, 08:00–10:00, Gentofte.

The January walk takes place at Gentofte Lake and Brobæk Mose, where winter birds are the focus: crested tits, dippers and similar species that stay here during the coldest time of year.

If the lake is frozen over, there is still open water at Brobækken, which always stays around 5 degrees. This provides good chances for dippers and - with a bit of luck - jack snipes, woodcocks, grey wagtails and waxwings.
