Danish Folk Music 2026 - Poul Lendal, line-up: Monday 23 November 2026, 19:30–22:30, Metronomen, Frederiksberg. Tickets cost 200 kr.

On Monday, November 23, 2026, more than 20 Danish folk musicians gather at Metronomen in Frederiksberg for an evening of Danish folk music. There are only 80 seats available, and the programme consists of two sets of 50 minutes each.

The first set features Poul Lendal (violin and more), Seamus Cahill (Irish song), Ginnunga (new Danish folk music, clarinet and accordion), Ragna (Danish and Swedish music - violin, guitar and nyckelharpa), and Morten Alfred & Vingården (new Danish folk music). After the intermission comes Ida Thorbjørrn Andersen (violin, Danish and Irish), Iltsvind (Danish folk music), Forvandlingen (old Danish songs in new arrangements), and Mads Hansens Kapel (Danish folk music).

Tickets cost 200 kr. plus any fees. All proceeds go to the independent, non-commercial radio station and media platform www.radiofolk.dk. The programme is subject to change.
