Classical Music Café

The music café is for those who love classical music - both the well-known and the more overlooked. Together we explore 800 years of musical tradition across time, composers, instruments and geography.

Each meeting is built around a theme - ballet, chamber music, specific composers or something entirely different. We listen to a piece of music, and after the break we hear a complete work or an excerpt. There is also a regular focus on a female composer each time. Participants are welcome to suggest what we should hear, and we discuss the music and what is happening in the music and art world.
