The Great Weaving Circle

Throughout the day, a shared weaving circle emerges - created by children, families, and everyone who wants to participate. Large frames strung with cord are set up in a circle, and as participants weave recycled textiles into them, a soft, sheltered space gradually takes shape in the middle of it all.

The installation was developed in collaboration with textile artist Cecilia de Jong, who works with community-based artworks and sensory textile spaces. Everyone can join in.
