Viborg's main library serves as the central library for Viborg Municipality and heads a network of 20 branch libraries. Alongside its book and children's collections, it houses a Makerspace with 3D printers, a laser cutter and VR equipment, an events hall called Skakbrættet, and several meeting rooms. Self-service access is available from 07:00 to 22:00 every day.
