Art, Food and Sustainability

Artist Nina Ferlov draws on her project 'Food in 14 Days' to share stories about everyday meals, recipes, and watercolours where food and images blend together in small narratives from daily life. She also presents her large embroidered biodiversity work, where nature's diversity is interpreted through textile and stitching.

Sustainability and reuse run through Ferlov's entire artistic practice. As a trained textile artist, she repairs her own clothes with needle and thread to extend their lifespan and creates new works from old sweaters and used materials.

The event takes place in the Oasen room and is arranged in collaboration with Klimafolkemødet in Middelfart.
