Mosaic Workshop - Glass Mosaic: Sunday 17 January 2027, 12:00–16:00, Nivaagaards Malerisamling, Nivå.

Christine Swane mastered many artistic disciplines, including mosaic. In this afternoon workshop, participants work with the craft of mosaic and create a 20x20 cm glass mosaic coaster inspired by Swane's colour palette and formal language.

The process covers all stages of mosaic art from start to finish, and all participants take their completed coaster home.

About the venue: Nivaagaards Malerisamling

Nivaagaards Malerisamling is an art museum next to Nivågård, founded when landowner Johannes Hage transferred his private collection to the public as an independent institution in 1908. The permanent collection covers the Italian and Northern European Renaissance, Dutch Baroque and the Danish Golden Age, and the museum has gained international recognition for its holdings of female Renaissance and Baroque artists. Two to three temporary exhibitions are held each year, often featuring more recent art. The museum sits in a large garden with old trees and rhododendrons, and runs a programme of lectures, concerts, guided tours and drawing classes.
