Passionate Souls Changing Lives - exhibition: 16 November – 27 November 2026, Hovedbiblioteket, Esbjerg.

Many people with disabilities live on the margins of society in Africa - but far from all are victims. The exhibition "Passionate Souls Changing Lives" focuses on those fighting for change: for themselves, for their families, and for others with disabilities in their communities.

The photographs were created by conflict photographer Mikkel Hørlyck, who travelled to Ghana in July 2026 together with journalist Morten Bonde Pedersen from Danske Handicaporganisationer, which also stands behind the exhibition.
