Wake the Spirits to Life - family walk: Thursday 15 October 2026, 12:30–13:30, Børkop Bibliotek, Børkop. Admission is free.

In autumn - around Halloween - the veil between the world of the living and the underground sprites is said to briefly disappear. At selected locations in and around Vejle and Børkop, evidence has been found that sprites have been at play.

The whole family can join the bog woman on a one-hour walk in nature and meet some of the forgotten sprites from old Danish folklore: the water spirit, the will-o'-the-wisp, and the troll. The sprites have slept for many years, and now it may be possible to wake them - for often there is something they need human help with. Along the way there is storytelling, drama, and small tasks to solve together.

The walk is for children aged 6-9 and their adults. We meet at the Children's Library in Bryggen.
