Prepare Yourself in 3 Days - Vildbjerg

Do you know what to do if the power goes out for several days or a major crisis strikes? On this evening, the Danish Emergency Management Association provides concrete knowledge about 3-day emergency preparedness and advice on how to prepare your home according to official recommendations. Emergency coordinator Henrik from Herning Municipality will also discuss municipal preparedness and the community's role in crisis situations.

The programme lasts approximately 2 hours and is structured as follows:
• 1 hour: The Danish Emergency Management Association on 3-day preparedness and home emergency planning.
• 30 minutes: Henrik from Herning Municipality on municipal preparedness and local communities.
• 20 minutes: Group discussion on preparedness and crisis readiness.
• 10 minutes: Joint closing remarks.

You will take home, among other things, the checklist "My Checklist", which helps you tailor your home emergency preparedness to your household. Coffee and cake will be served.

The event is part of the thematic collaboration "Together on Preparedness" - a collaboration between DR, Østifterne, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd and libraries. Admission is free but requires a ticket.
