Create Your Own Shamanic Drum. January 9 & 10, 2027

Create Your Own Shamanic Drum workshop: 9 January – 10 January 2027, Delta Huset, Dianalund. Tickets cost 2500 kr.

This two-day course is about building your own shamanic drum - not just as a craft, but as ritual and ceremony. You choose the hide that speaks to you and shape the drum and drumsticks with your own hands, guided by the course leader throughout the process.

Saturday (day 1) begins with a drum journey where you meet the spirit in your hide. The participants then gather to bind and shape the drums - each knot and stretch of the hide as a conscious action.

Sunday (day 2) is spent making your drumstick from natural materials, and the day concludes with an initiation ritual where you awaken the drum's spirit.

The course runs January 9-10, 2027 at Delta Huset, Torvet 30B, 4293 Dianalund - both days 10:00-approx. 16:00. Maximum 6 participants.

The price is 2,500 kr. and includes hide and frame for a 16" (41 cm) drum (18" or 20" available for an additional 500 kr.), materials for a wool drumstick on a natural branch, plus coffee, tea and snacks. Bring your own lunch - there is a fridge and microwave on site. Registration is binding, but your place can be transferred to a later course or another participant.
