Exhibition: Øhavsstien to the Calm Mind

Øhavsstien - comic exhibition on mind and nature: 29 September – 29 October 2026, Hovedbiblioteket, Odense.

The exhibition "Øhavsstien to the Calm Mind" examines the relationship between the brain and the immune system - and how nature can influence both. It follows researcher Anna Klawonn's personal quest for a brain-friendly life and is told through comic art.

The exhibition is created by cartoonist Karoline Stjernfelt, Anna Klawonn (Aarhus University), and journalist Peter Becher Damkjær (Fyns Amts Avis). It is part of a project led by Denmark's Media and Journalism School, where Danish comic artists collaborate with local media and scientific researchers to communicate research visually. The project is supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
