A Christmas Carol — Hadsten Bibliotek, Hadsten

Charles Dickens' classic 1843 story forms the foundation: money-loving Scrooge hates Christmas, but a dream vision on Christmas Eve transforms his view of life.

A single actor tells the story using objects, shadow play, and newly composed music rooted in well-known Christmas hymns and songs.

The performance is aimed at children aged 3-9 and their adults.

About the venue: Hadsten Bibliotek

Hadsten Bibliotek is housed in Kulturhus Sløjfen, a flexible building of nearly 2,500 square metres on the banks of Lilleåen in central Hadsten. The building also contains Favrskov Musikskole, meeting rooms, a hall and a music room. As a branch of Favrskov Bibliotekerne, it offers loans of books, e-books, audiobooks and films, as well as citizen services. The programme includes concerts, lectures, exhibitions and events for children.
