KVAS is a music festival created by young people for young people. On Saturday, August 29, the doors open at Hadsten Kulturhus Sløjfen for a full day of music.

The programme mixes established names with new bands - the newcomers were selected from 40 applicants, with only the best making it through the steering committee's filter. The full music programme is released continuously on kvasfestival.dk. The evening's final band is PATINA, who won DR's talent competition KarriereKanonen in 2019 and the 'Young Talent Today' award in 2025. Their hit 'Genstart' is likely to be on the setlist.

Tickets cost 75 kr. in advance and 100 kr. on the day. Group discounts are available: 2 tickets including 2 beers/waters for 175 kr., or 4 tickets including 4 beers/waters for 333 kr. - both offers are sold until Friday, August 28. A food ticket for 75 kr. includes a portion of dinner from Skafferiet (Chili sin Carne or pasta salad).

The festival is supported by Favrskov Municipality, ELRO-dage, Nordea Foundation 'Life in the Local', Nordjyllandsfonden and ROSA/Tuborg Foundation: Music Help Stage Setup. KVAS is one of five festivals under Favrskov Municipality's festival strategy - read about the others on favrskovbib.dk.

About the venue: Hadsten Bibliotek

Hadsten Bibliotek is housed in Kulturhus Sløjfen, a flexible building of nearly 2,500 square metres on the banks of Lilleåen in central Hadsten. The building also contains Favrskov Musikskole, meeting rooms, a hall and a music room. As a branch of Favrskov Bibliotekerne, it offers loans of books, e-books, audiobooks and films, as well as citizen services. The programme includes concerts, lectures, exhibitions and events for children.
