Spil Dansk Fest - classical music and dance: Thursday 29 October 2026, 16:00–20:30, Hovedbiblioteket i Aalborg, Aalborg. Admission is free.

Spil Dansk Fest fills Hovedbiblioteket with rhythmic music, classical music, big band, folk music, and Nordic dance. Aalborg's vibrant music scene is well represented, and there is also a conversation with musicians about writing in their native language.

You are welcome to attend the entire festival or drop in for parts of the programme - admission is free.

In Glashjørnet, it starts at 16:00 with MGKoret from Aalborg Kulturskole, followed at 16:30 by Katedralskolens Bigband. The festival then moves to Folkestuen: at 17:30 there is Nordic dance with Folk for Aalborg, at 18:30 there is a break with drinks and snacks for sale, and at 19:00 musician Sofie Trolle talks with Kathrine Skovsgaard about writing in Danish, after which she performs a concert. The festival ends at 20:30.
