Hay Harvest in the Hills of Havdrup

Hay Harvest in the Hills - family day: Sunday 25 October 2026, 10:00–15:00, Havdrup.

A beginner-friendly workshop where you'll learn the traditional craft of scything grass.

Bring your own scythe if you have one, or borrow one of the 10 available on the day. After cutting, you'll rake the grass together - you're welcome to take it home for rabbits, chickens, or other animals, or it will be disposed of.

Join us in the Bakkerne hills in Havdrup for a family day focused on practical craftsmanship. Light refreshments will be served for the hardworking participants, and the day concludes with afternoon cake.

Participation is free. If you'd like to eat with us, registration is required with your name, phone number, and number of participants at www.dnsolrod.nemtilmeld.dk.

Wear work gloves and practical clothing, and come spend a day in nature.
