Beredskabsvenner Bead Workshop - family activity: Friday 6 November 2026, 14:00–18:00, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning.

DR's Beredskabsvenner invites you to a bead workshop where you can make a friendship bracelet for someone you want to help - or reach out to yourself.

At the large bead buffet, both children and adults can assemble their own bracelet. At the same time, focus is placed on one of the most important things in a crisis: that we have each other.

Location: Ground floor

About the venue: Biblioteket i Herning

Biblioteket i Herning opened in August 2014 in the city centre on Østergade, designed by Kristian H. Nielsen and GPP Arkitekterne. At nearly 6,000 m², it houses five kilometres of shelving in the book section known as Dybet, two bookable meeting rooms, a MakerSpace and a café. Beyond lending, the library hosts lectures, cultural events and IT guidance, and also serves as the central library for 19 municipalities in the Central Denmark Region.
