Together on Preparedness in Korsør

Together on Preparedness - family day: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 14:00–20:00, Biblioteket Korsør, Korsør. Admission is free.

On Wednesday, October 28, Slagelse Libraries and Korsør Kulturhus - in collaboration with DR, Østifterne and Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd - host a day in Korsør with activities, talks and community for children and adults.

You can try first aid, test your knowledge about drinking water, meet the local emergency services, take FGU's preparedness course or visit Gerlev's play container. The day also features talks and discussions about preparedness, including "Alone in the Wilderness" and "Into the Crisis Machine Room" (registration links coming later). Preparedness is not just about water, canned food and batteries, but also about helping each other, finding reliable information and standing together when something unexpected happens.

The open activities take place mainly from 2 pm to 8 pm at and around Korsør's old town hall, Caspar Brands Square and in Korsør Kulturhus. Participation is free, but some activities require a free ticket - more information about tickets and the final programme will follow. You can follow the Facebook event for updates.

The event is part of DR's nationwide initiative "Together on Preparedness" and is carried out in collaboration between DR, Østifterne, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd and the Libraries' Theme Collaboration.
