Film Screening: I Speak to You

Jørgen Leth followed visual artist John Kørner closely over five years. The result is a film about Kørner's poetic view of Danish society, his working methods, and the drive behind his works.

We witness Kørner creating his image series about Danish soldiers in Afghanistan, and we follow the creation of his first work for the Crown Prince Couple's Palace at Amalienborg - a painting that is not approved, and the work that takes its place. The film also captures the beginning of Kørner's encounter with his native Friserland.

The screening takes place in the Kulturhussalen and is held in collaboration with Ledøje-Smørum Kunstforening.
