Brit Floyd
Brit Floyd - Pink Floyd tribute: Saturday 9 October 2027, 20:00, K.B. Hallen, Frederiksberg.
Brit Floyd performs at K.B. Hallen on 9 October 2027 as part of the "ANIMALS 50" tour, marking 50 years since the release of Pink Floyd's album "Animals".
The album was released in 1977 and is loosely based on George Orwell's novel "Animal Farm". The novel's themes of power, inequality and social division were transformed into a dark and uncompromising musical work, featuring tracks such as "Dogs", "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" and "Sheep".
Brit Floyd is regarded as one of the world's leading Pink Floyd tribute bands and has performed over 1,600 concerts since 2011. Over the years, the band has shared the stage with musicians from Pink Floyd's and Roger Waters' own touring lineups in the USA, UK and Europe - including bassist and vocalist Guy Pratt, backing vocalists Durga McBroom and Machan Taylor, saxophonist Scott Page, and Harry Waters and Graham Broad from Roger Waters' band. In summer 2025, Brit Floyd also performed a series of double concerts with Alan Parsons at venues in California and Nevada.
At K.B. Hallen, the band performs "Animals" in its entirety in a new stage production featuring set design, laser and light show. The concert also includes classics such as "Time", "Money", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Comfortably Numb" and "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2".
