Vildskabens Veje - Film Screening and Discussion
Varde Bibliotek, Varde · 50 kr. · ≈ 7 €
An evening about nature restoration based on the film Vildskabens Veje.
The film, which runs 50 minutes, is shown first. Afterwards, director and nature photographer Jeppe Svendsen talks about his work on it, and the evening concludes with a discussion between Martin Sandager, manager of Kragelund Mose, and Anna Sünksen, manager of Nørholm Vildmark. The discussion focuses on nature management aimed at restoring natural processes and dynamics.
Vildskabens Veje tells the story of Kragelund Mose, a private nature area that has changed dramatically over the past 10 years after area manager Martin Sandager set out to restore and expand the old wetland. In the film, biologist Skjold Søndergård explains the importance of reintroduced animals for the landscape and biodiversity. Through images of animals, plants, and landscape, the film shows how Danish nature can flourish again.
The event takes place in Salonen.
