The Winter Dress

The Winter Dress - family theatre concert: Saturday 5 December 2026, 11:00–11:40, Silkeborg Kirke, Silkeborg. Tickets cost 95 kr.

Teater Hakkehuset presents the theatrical concert The Winter Dress in Silkeborg Church - a musical and visual adaptation of H.C. Andersen's "The Little Match Girl", for the whole family.

A snow lady in a tall, white winter dress - shaped like a winter landscape with a Christmas-tree quality - tells the fairy tale while cello, guitar and singing are woven into the story. Along the way, the dress transforms and a small Christmas universe takes shape before the audience's eyes. The performance features songs in Danish, Swedish, German and English, and includes winter songs, Christmas jokes, frost, silence and glimpses of joy.

The Winter Dress is for both children and adults, and for everyone who wants to experience the Christmas spirit together across generations.
