Board Game Saturday - A Full Day Around the Table

Board Game Saturday for all ages: Saturday 21 November 2026, 10:00–17:00, Silkeborg Bibliotek, Silkeborg.

Spend the entire day playing board games in all varieties - from light and cosy games to more strategic ones that demand time and focus. You don't need to know the games beforehand; help is available both for finding a game and finding fellow players. Just show up.

The day runs until 5 p.m., leaving room to tackle the bigger games that are otherwise hard to fit into a regular game night. If you have a game at home that deserves table time, you're welcome to bring it along.

For lunch, you can bring your own food or order a sandwich in advance. Three options are available: sun-dried tomatoes, chicken and bacon, or smoked salmon. Sandwiches are ordered via these links:

If you have old board games at home that you no longer use, bring them along. There will be a swap and sales stand where participants can sell or trade their used games - so an old favourite might find a new home while you take a new one home with you.

The event takes place in Vidensscenen at Silkeborg Library.
