Books of the Year - Kjellerup · Kjellerup Bibliotek, Kjellerup

Books of the Year - librarians' picks: Monday 11 January 2027, 19:00–21:00, Kjellerup Bibliotek, Kjellerup. Tickets cost 95 kr.

What themes have shaped the books of 2026 - and where can you find inspiration for truly great reading experiences?

Frederik, Anne and Britt from Silkeborg Libraries have read through a large selection of this year's publications and offer their personal recommendations. The hand-picked titles are presented one by one, with explanations of what makes each of these books worth reading.

Most of the recommendations are literary fiction novels, supplemented with a few essays, poetry collections and non-fiction.

There will be a break with coffee and cake. The event takes place in Rotunden.

About the venue: Kjellerup Bibliotek

Kjellerup Bibliotek is part of the Mosaikken cultural centre, which opened in 2005 as part of the urban renewal project Totalplan for Kjellerup. The library was formed by merging the school library and the public library, and is connected to Trekløverskolen via a glass corridor. The building combines a brick section and a glass section, and includes a hall used for events and exhibitions. The programme ranges from author evenings and film screenings to a parents' café and singing evenings.
