Mette Frisk on Behind Forsvundne Arvinger and Sporløs: Wednesday 13 January 2027, 19:00–21:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Skive. Tickets cost 249 kr.

Journalist and TV host Mette Frisk takes the audience behind the camera of programmes such as Forsvundne Arvinger and Sporløs. She shares stories about research, filming, and the ethical considerations that come with investigating family histories, old secrets, and people's innermost lives - and what it is like to face people who suddenly have the door opened to a past they may never have known.

Drawing on her encounters with people seeking answers about their origins and the stories that have shaped their lives, she discusses difficult choices along the way and the balance between journalism and consideration for those involved. This is the first time she publicly goes into detail about the work behind some of her most well-known TV programmes.

Mette Frisk has worked as an investigative journalist at DR for more than 20 years, including on 21 Søndag, DR1 Dokumentar, P1 Morgen, and several podcast productions. For the past 10 years, she has hosted Madmagasinet, Aftenshowet, Sporløs, and Forsvundne Arvinger. She has received the FUJ Prize and the Steen Baadsgaard Prize for the documentary Rugemor til salg, as well as Mad+Medier's critic prize for Madmagasinet.

The event is organized by Ældresagen, Skive Theater, and Skive Library. The lecture takes place at Skive Theater, Theaterpladsen 10, 7800 Skive, and costs 249 kr. There is an intermission.
