Halloween Hofbal for Costumed Guests

Halloween Hofbal with live music and theatre: Friday 30 October 2026, 17:00–20:30, Den Gamle Byråds Sal, Roskilde. Tickets cost 130 kr.

When darkness falls over Roskilde, Den Gamle Byrådssal becomes the setting for HALLOWEEN HOFBAL - a performance for the whole family featuring music, theatre, magic and mystery. The historic hall transforms into a dark universe with candlelight, velvet, masks and roses, where the audience encounters live music, singing and theatrical storytelling. In the centre of the hall stands an empty royal throne - the question is, who does it belong to, and who is really holding court.

The programme features music from Tanz der Vampire, Rammstein and Harry Potter, spanning from gothic mysticism and dark romanticism to magic and dramatic surprises. Nina Sveistrup Clausen performs as soprano and performer, Walter Florin handles keyboards and musical direction, and AmaSing Vokalensemble participates alongside special guests. Perhaps another guest will appear along the way.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume - as a vampire, witch, demon, angel, king, queen or something entirely different. Everyone is welcome in costume.

The performance lasts approximately 60 minutes and is performed twice: Friday 30 October 2026 at 17:00 and 19:30 in Den Gamle Byrådssal, Stændertorvet 1, Roskilde. Admission is 130 DKK, and tickets can be purchased via Billetto or at the door as long as there are available seats.
