Den Gamle Byrådssal (the Old Council Chamber) occupies the former town hall on Stændertorvet in Roskilde and is now part of Byens hus. The hall was inaugurated on 26 November 1884, designed by architect O. P. Momme, and its original wall and ceiling decorations are still intact. It hosts weddings, concerts, lectures and public meetings, with capacity for 80 seated or 150 standing guests. The entrance is only open during events.
