Troll Faces on Forest Trees - for Preschoolers and Families

Troll Faces on Forest Trees - family activity: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 10:00–12:00, Thurø Spejdernes hytte, Svendborg.

We start with a warm-up game in the forest where children collect materials that trolls love - twigs, pinecones, soft moss, colorful leaves and seed pods.

Then everyone finds their favorite tree by the scout hut and shapes a troll face directly on the bark using ordinary natural clay. The clay sticks well, doesn't damage the tree and gradually washes away gently with rain. The collected natural materials are woven into the clay as noses, beards, teeth, ears and wild hairstyles. Finally we take a walk and visit each other's newly awakened forest trolls.

Wear practical clothes and footwear that can get a bit dirty.
