Powers of Attorney and Inheritance

What happens to your assets and loved ones if you suddenly cannot care for yourself? That question is the focus of this free evening at Lystrup Library.

A power of attorney allows you to designate who will act on your behalf - in both personal and financial matters - if illness or accident strikes. It can save your family from a lengthy guardianship case. The evening also covers wills and inheritance, with special focus on unmarried couples and blended families: who inherits what, and how do you ensure that children from different relationships are treated according to your wishes?

The speaker is lawyer Annemette Larsen, who has 17 years of experience in family and inheritance law. She is a member of Danish Family Law Attorneys and is affiliated with the legal team at Family Entrepreneurs in Aarhus Municipality.
